Above are pictures of myself with 8th grade students at Valley Elementary Middle School. The classroom guidance lessons being taught were about important soft skills needed for future success.

Above and to the left are pictures from the 8th Grade Career Day at Valley Elementary Middle School. Speakers from various professions and trades participated in the career day and spoke with the 8th grade students to give insight about possible future careers.

Below and to the left are photos from the "Spark" unit I taught to all 2nd grade classes at Valley Elementary Middle School. Students were encouraged to find their "Spark", embrace it, and share it with the class. Even 2nd grade teachers participated as shown below.

Above are photos from an attendance challenge at Salem Elementary School. I created the flier online to be sent home to families and created a bulletin board to get students excited to come to school. The winning class won a pizza party. This was a fun way to address an ongoing attendance issue at the school.

Pictured left are students with their new books at Salem Elementary School. The school partnered with an outside agency to do a book give away for all students K-2. I was able to organize and assist in giving out the books.
